Raw(e): Green

Well I am just getting right into the swing, aren't I? :)

Sailor and Co's weekly Raw(e) challenge theme this week is: Green

I took this when trying to get more comfortable with silhouettes. Since I totally blew the grass, I thought the affect was kinda neat for this theme.

I am also editing this post to add this photo to the Wishful Lamb photo challenge, which is shadow:

You Capture: Green

This week at You Capture, we had a choice for this week: Chairs, Hands or Green.
Here is my entry for Green:
Exposure Time:1/2000
Aperture:f/2.8
ISO:800
Focal Length:50mm (75mm in 35mm)

adjusted curves, and ran a slightly unsharp mask in GIMP. It may be too sharp still. I also can't figure out how to tone down her pants. Such is life :)

POTW: Green

POTW this week for my photo board had the theme green. I exhausted most of my green photos earlier, entering the Pioneer Women's "Green" theme. My favourite is actually used as my header for this blog, so I went into the archives and pulled this one from our trip to South Carolina. I just love how lush the swampland is.
